Isilon: SyncIQ-jobben mislykkes med "SyncIQ failed to take a snapshot on source cluster. Initialiseringsfeil for øyeblikksbilder"

Problem

En SyncIQ-policy mislykkes i løpet av de første fem minuttene etter at den startet med feil Snapshots initialization error.
 

Symptomer

En SyncIQ-policy mislykkes nesten umiddelbart, og et varsel som ligner på følgende, vises:

Følgende logges i /var/log/messages på koordinatornoden:

Årsak

Kilderotkatalogen som er definert i SyncIQ-policyen, er satt til noe i /ifs/.snapshot. Dette er ikke en konfigurasjon som støttes.
 

Bekreft problemet.

SyncIQ-policyen har "kilderotkatalog" satt til en /ifs/.snapshot/-katalogbane. Eksempel:

Merk: feilmeldingen "Failing snap_create. Non-head file to snapshot." Det er ikke mulig å lage et øyeblikksbilde av et øyeblikksbilde, og det er grunnen til at policyen mislykkes.
