Isilon: Il lavoro SyncIQ ha esito negativo con errore "SyncIQ failed to take a snapshot on source cluster. Errore di inizializzazione delle istantanee"

Problema

Una policy SyncIQ ha esito negativo entro i primi cinque minuti dall'avvio con errore Snapshots initialization error.
 

Sintomi

Una policy SyncIQ ha esito negativo quasi immediatamente e viene visualizzato un avviso simile al seguente:

Quanto segue viene registrato /var/log/messages sul nodo del coordinatore:

Causa

La directory principale di origine definita nella policy SyncIQ è impostata su un elemento all'interno di /ifs/.snapshot. Questa configurazione non è supportata.
 

Verificare il problema.

La policy SyncIQ ha "directory principale di origine" impostata su un percorso di directory /ifs/.snapshot/. Ad esempio:

Nota: viene visualizzato il messaggio di errore "Failing snap_create. Non-head file to snapshot." Non è possibile creare un'istantanea di un'istantanea, motivo per cui la policy ha esito negativo.
