Symptoms

서로 다른 사이트에 있는 두 ECS를 페더레이션해야 합니다.
DR VDC를 기본 ECS에 추가하려고 하면 UI에 아래 오류 메시지가 표시됩니다.

  
Virtual Data Center creation failure. Be sure that you have correctly entered the IP address(s) of online devices and that Data Services has completed initialization. Please correct input or retry after a few minutes. Service Error details: Error 7000 (http: 500): An error occurred in the API Service. An error occurred in the API service. Cause: error insertVdcInfo.

Cause

보조 ECS의 VDC는 주 VDC를 통해 생성되며 페더레이션에 추가될 때 생성됩니다. 이미 생성된 VDC가 있는 경우 절차가 실패합니다.

Resolution

보조 사이트에 이미 생성된 VDC입니다. 기본 사이트에 추가하려고 시도한 내용이 작동하지 않아 위의 오류 메시지가 나타납니다.
최신 ECS 관리자 가이드의 절차에 따라 보조 ECS 사이트에는 하나의 스토리지 풀만 생성하고 유효한 라이선스를 업로드해야 합니다.


보조 ECS에 VDC를 생성할 필요가 없습니다. 주 사이트 ECS를 통해 생성됩니다.

 

Ensure the site you are adding has a valid license uploaded and has at least one
storage pool in the Ready state.

If you encounter this issue, open a Service Request with Dell EMC customer support and note this KB.
