Symptoms

Precision 7875 Tower non è in grado di eseguire l'avvio nel server PXE e continua l'avvio nel sistema operativo. Ciò si verifica quando l'utente imposta le impostazioni del BIOS Wake-on-LAN su "LAN with PXE Boot" e Deep Sleep su Disabled con una scheda di rete Intel I226 per riattivarla dalla modalità di sospensione S5.

Cause

Precision 7875 Tower non riesce a trovare lo stato del Power Management Event (PME) del dispositivo LAN endpoint PCIe, quindi impedisce al sistema di avviare PXE quando Wake on LAN (WOL).

 

Resolution

Guarigione:

Modificare manualmente l'impostazione "Deep sleep" del BIOS in Enable S4/S5 (Default) e "Boot Sequence" sulla scheda di rete I226 per l'avvio PXE.
