Cause

In the ViPR Controller database, one vPool has a reference to a VpoolRemoteCopyProtectionSettings which does not exist as shown below:
id: urn:storageos:VirtualPool:8532bd6e-c090-4d21-a038-a13fc5760e2b:vdc1
label = E_Block_4x4x2_Active_VP
remoteProtectionSettings = StringMap {urn:storageos:VirtualArray:98dc18da-db1a-43d2-95c9-29223366b5de:vdc1=urn:storageos:VpoolRemoteCopyProtectionSettings:0d11e7a5-d1b7-4147-ab1c-6a78ce08915f:vdc1}

Resolution

If possible, remove the vPool which had a reference to a VpoolRemoteCopyProtectionSettings which did not exist in the ViPR Controller database.

If unable to remove the vPool or having a similar issue in a different part of the ViPR Controller GUI, then collect the slither or diagutils and open an Service Request (SR).
