Symptoms

errorMessage: "An error occurred while reading the data from queue. Error code is 81."

Cause

PowerProtect Data Manager 在等待讀取器傳送資料時，寫入器等待時間突然增加。特定資料區塊的等候間隔介於 800 到 2000 秒之間，導致逾時錯誤。PowerMax 磁碟區的讀取效能緩慢 ，通常會導致此行為。

Resolution

若要緩解此問題：

  1. 在 PowerProtect Data Manager 系統上編輯下列組態檔案：
/usr/local/brs/lib/sdmng/config/application.yml
  1. 找到參數：
READER_TIMEOUT_IN_SECONDS: 300
  1. 更新為：
READER_TIMEOUT_IN_SECONDS: 900
  1. 重新啟動 sdmng 服務以應用更改。
# sdmng restart
...wait for service to restart & check status
#  sdmng status

這會增加逾時閾值，讓系統有更多時間完成讀取作業，並降低 ABVSD0018 錯誤。
