Cause

When a node entered MM mode, the storage capacity of the node has already been removed from vSan datastore.
However, during precheck of node removal, VxRail Manager decreases the node storage again, which causes the issue.

Resolution

Follow the below steps to perform node removal again.

  1. Select node to enter MM mode
  2. Right-click the node and select 'disconnect'
  3. Clear the critical alarms
  4. Right-click the node -> select 'VxRail' -> select 'Move VxRail Host'
  5. Perform node removal with required credentials
  6. If multiple nodes must be removed, repeat step 1 - step 5.
