Symptoms
PowerPath VAアプリケーションは、/var/log/warnログ(管理アプライアンスVM内)でlogrotateエラーを報告しています。次のようなエラー メッセージが表示される場合があります。
Feb 20 13:45:03 cgvx000000526 logrotate: error: skipping "/var/log/tomcat7/catalina.out" because parent directory has insecure permissions (It's world writable or writable by group which is not "root") configファイルで「su」ディレクティブを設定して、ローテーションに使用するユーザー/グループをlogrotateに指示します
また、/var/log/tomcat7ディレクトリーのワールドワイド権限は664です。logrotate.configファイルには644と記載されています。
Cause
Tomcatは、logrotateツールにオフロードするのではなく、ログローテーション自体を処理する必要があります。
Resolution
これはPPMA 2.2で修正される予定です。
