Symptoms

Serveren genstarter og ser ud til at downloade BIOS-kapselfilen og køre BIOS-opdateringen. Når serveren genstarter, gentages BIOS-opdateringssekvensen ved efterfølgende POST. Dette mønster gentages på ubestemt tid indtil manuel indgriben.

Cause

Når iDRAC9 er ved at løbe tør for hukommelse under opdatering af det trininddelte BIOS-job, genstartes iDRAC SMA-dæmonen, mens du forsøger at behandle BIOS-filoverførslen.

Resolution

iDRAC9-firmwareversion 6.00.30.00 korrigerer hukommelseshåndteringen for at forhindre denne trininddelte BIOS-opdateringsfejltilstand.

Løsning:
Ryd og slet aktuelle iDRAC-job, og nulstil iDRAC.
