Symptoms

서버가 재부팅되고 BIOS 캡슐 파일을 다운로드하고 BIOS 업데이트를 실행하라는 메시지가 나타납니다. 서버가 재부팅된 후 다음 POST에서 BIOS 업데이트 순서가 반복됩니다. 이 패턴은 수동 개입이 있을 때까지 무기한 반복됩니다.

Cause

준비된 BIOS 작업을 업데이트하는 동안 iDRAC9의 메모리가 부족하면 BIOS 파일 전송을 처리하는 동안 iDRAC SMA 데몬이 재시작됩니다.

Resolution

iDRAC9 펌웨어 버전 6.00.30.00은 이 단계적 BIOS 업데이트 실패 상태를 방지하기 위해 메모리 처리를 수정합니다.

해결:
현재 iDRAC 작업을 지우고 삭제하며 iDRAC를 재설정합니다.

#racadm jobqueue delete -i JID_CLEARALL_FORCE  (this is the only way to delete a job in running state).
