在此情況下，使用者擁有 PowerFlex 16G 裝置，並自有 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 映像供 MVM （PFMP） 節點使用。

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10

PFMP 安裝在第二階段失敗，達到 74%。

在bedrock.log中出現以下錯誤：

fatal: [host1]: FAILED! => changed=false
 assertion: ansible_failed_task is ot defined and ansible_failed_result is not defined
 evaluated_to: false

無法部署 PFMP。

Cause

CMO 需要 UMASK 022 才能正確設置 Helm 圖表。UMASK 027 為 root 提供 rwx 許可權，組提供 r-x 許可權，其他人沒有許可權。

Resolution

修正：

修改所有三個 MVM （PFMP） 節點上的 UMASK 值。

若要將 UMASK 變更為 0022：

  1. 更新 UMASK 值
vi /etc/login.defs
   Update the line UMASK 027 ---> UMASK 022
   save it.
  1. 載入組態：
source /etc/profile
  1. 結束 命令列，然後重新登入

最新組態已更新。#測試：如果您建立任何新檔案，系統會以 644 個權限建立該檔案。

值修改後：

  • 重設 PFMP 安裝程式
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/reset_installer.sh
  • 設定 PFMP 安裝程式
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/setup_installer.sh
  • 啟動 PFMP 安裝
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/install_PFMP.sh


Dell PowerFlex 4.6.x 版本資訊指出如下 （第 1 頁）。18):

Symptom: The PowerFlex management platform installation process requires that the umask be set to the Linux default (022). If you have changed the default umask setting, the helm images do not have the correct permissions when it comes time to pull the images.
 
Recommended action: Change umask to 022.
