Symptoms

Dell APEX Cloud Platform Manager를 업그레이드한 후 SUSE 커널 버전은 변경되지 않습니다. 

6.4.0-150600.23.87-기본값

Cause

LCM 업그레이드 관리자 코드의 버그로 인해 커널 버전에 대한 정수 비교 대신 문자열 비교가 수행되어 커널 업그레이드를 진행할 필요가 없다고 잘못 결정되었습니다.

예를 들어, 코드는 문자열 비교가 '87' > '115'를 처리하기 때문에 코드는 6.4.0-150600.23.87-default를 6.4.0-150600.23.115.1-default보다 최신 커널로 처리합니다.

Resolution

  1. Dell APEX Cloud Platform Manager를 업그레이드한 후 다음 명령을 실행해야 합니다.

    cpm:/home/mystic # nice -n 19 ionice -c 3 rpm -Uvh--nodeps --force /data/store2/tmp/am_upgrade_repository/package-pool/kernel-default-6.4.0-150600.23.115.1.x86_64.rpm 2>&1| tee -a /var/log/lcm/am-upgrade를 실행합니다.log

    cpm:/home/mystic # 재부팅 

  2. 재부팅 후 cpm:/home/mystic # rpm -qa | grep kernel
    kernel-default-6.4.0-150600.23 버전을

    확인합니다.115.1.x86_64.Rpm
