Symptoms

 

Controlleren og switchene kan pinge hinandens lokale IPv6-linkadresse. Processen fuldføres dog stadig ikke helt. Dette kan forekomme, når IPv6-pakken går over mellem switche som f.eks. topologien nedenfor.

Cause

MLD snooping videresender ikke ipv6 ND-pakker over portkanalen mellem switche. 

Resolution

For at løse dette problem skal du globalt bruge følgende kommandoer på begge switche:

OS10(config)# no ip igmp snooping enable

OS10(config)# ingen ipv6 mld snooping aktiveret

Dell EMC OS10 har IGMP snooping og IPv6 MLD snooping aktiveret som standard. Dette kan resultere i, at IPv6-registreringsrammer fra Switchlight til controlleren opfanges mellem switche.
