Instructions

De daemon_options Bestand bevat parameters voor het configureren van het logbestand.

Stappen: 

  1. Ga naar: <SYMAPI_HOME>/config /daemon_options bestand op basis van hostbesturingssysteem zoals hieronder:
  • Windows: <Install directory>\EMC\symapi\config
  • Linux: /var/symapi/config
  1. Maak een back-up van het origineel daemon_options bestand (zoals daemon_options_old)
  2. Voeg het volgende toe aan het einde van de daemon_options bestand voor configuratie van logbestand.
storevntd:log_event_targets = file
storevntd:log_event_file_name = <LogEventFileName | events>
storevntd:log_event_file_type = <dated | wrap >
storevntd:log_event_file_size = > 0 - nn | 1  ( This value should be a decimal number greater than zero ).
storevntd:log_event_file_retention = > 0 - nn | 3 ( This value should be a decimal number greater than zero ).
storevntd:LOG_SYMMETRIX_EVENTS = \
sid=00029xxxxxxx, status, events, array subsystem, checksum, diagnostic, environmental, device pool, service processor, srdf system, srdf link, srdfa session, srdf consistency group, director, device, disk, smc, audit, spa ;\

  1. Stop en start de storevntd Daemon van symcli
    1. Stoppen storevntd Daemon
stordaemon shutdown storevntd -immediate
  1. Verzekeren storevntd Daemon is gestopt
stordaemon list
  1. Start storevntd Daemon
stordaemon start storevntd
  1. Verzekeren storevntd Daemon wordt uitgevoerd
stordaemon list
  1. Voer de onderstaande opdrachten uit op Solutions Enabler/symcli om de configuratie van het logbestand te controleren:
stordaemon action storevntd -cmd list -regs -v
stordaemon action storevntd -cmd list -log_targets 
stordaemon action storevntd -cmd list -log_stats
  1. Een gegenereerd logbestand wordt opgeslagen of bevindt zich onder de logboekmap van Solutions Enabler .
  • Windows: <Install directory>\EMC\symapi\log
  • Linux: /var/symapi/log
