Symptoms



- La tarea de actualización en línea falla cada vez que se intenta ejecutarla. 
- Normalmente, el cliente puede abrir la URL: vupdate.emc.com desde el navegador web Normalmente
: se pueden ver errores como los siguientes en el registro de tareas: 
Esto indica que se agotó el tiempo de espera de la conexión cuando se intentaba conectarse a la URL vupdate.emc.com desde el front-end de SRM.

Caused by: java.net.UnknownHostException: vupdate.emc.com: Connection Timeout
- When trying to ping or telnet the URL vupdate.emc.com from the Frontend the same Error cause was displayed. 

Cause

El cliente está utilizando un servidor proxy, consultó con el equipo de ingeniería y confirmó que la actualización en línea no se puede ejecutar (acceda a la URL: vupdate.emc.com) cuando hay un servidor proxy en uso en el servidor del cliente.

Resolution

La tarea de actualización en línea no se puede ejecutar cuando se implementa un servidor proxy en la red del cliente.
