PowerProtect：Data Manager NTP 組態未更新 保護引擎和代理

Summary: 成功部署 PowerProtect 後，客戶必須解除委任 NTP 伺服器：Data Manager，因此他們決定在 PowerProtect Data Manager 上手動更新 NTP 組態，但發現並未更新保護引擎和代理，且仍顯示舊的 NTP 組態。

Symptoms

PowerProtect：Data Manager NTP 組態未更新 保護引擎和代理

Cause

即將解除委任的 NTP 伺服器，為 NTP 組態手動更新 PowerProtect Data Manager 伺服器，但並未更新 NTP 伺服器組態的保護引擎和 Proxy 主機。

Resolution

PowerProtect Data Manager 管理員以系統管理員身分手動登入每個代理主機，然後將主機切換至 root，然後手動更新 /etc/ntp.conf & /usr/local/brs/puppet/modules/ecdm/files/ntpd/ntp.conf 。

重新開機 PowerProtect Data Manager > ，以便重新載入變數。

Note: 
It's not recommended to manually change any hostname or IP address after the OVA is deployed. It becomes cumbersome if you are dealing with secure hidden password protected components such as Protection Engines etc
