Symptoms

シナリオ

OpenStack は、通常の操作中に数千の小さなボリュームを作成および削除します。ワークロードのピーク時には、ボリュームの作成と削除が機能しない場合があります。

比率が2.5に達したこのシナリオでは、エラーとスクリーンショットが観察されました。

問題

新しいボリュームを作成できません。

Cause

OpenStackには、 cinder.conf オーバープロビジョニング制限を設定するファイル。

値 powerflex_max_over_subscription_ratio=2.5 は、営業時間外ではなく、ワークロードの高い時間帯に到達したため、問題が発生したのは散発的な時間でした。

Resolution

オーバープロビジョニング設定がボリューム エラーの原因になっています。の値の変更 cinder.conf 2.5 からより高い値 (3.5 など) にすると、ピーク時に操作がスムーズに動作します

ザ powerflex_max_over_subscription_ratio key は Cinder バージョン 17.4.1.dev13 (Victoria) で初めて導入されました。


修正：
