Symptoms

Ao testar a conectividade do Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) a uma grade do Avamar com o snmpwalk utilitário, ele falha da seguinte maneira: 

snmpwalk labavamar.company.com -v2c -cpublic .1.3.6.1.4.1.15597 
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.15597 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID

Cause

O subagente SNMP não está em execução na grade do Avamar.

Isso pode ser verificado executando o seguinte:

Resolution

1. Inicie o subagente SNMP a partir da interface do usuário:

    • IU Java do MCS (Management Console Server):
      • Faça login no Avamar Administrator Console
      • Navegue até Administração
      • Guia Services Administration
      • Clique com o botão direito do mouse em snmp subagent e selecione "Start snmp subagent"
    • Interface do usuário da Web (AUI) do Avamar:
      • Faça log-in na AUI do Avamar
      • Navegue até Servidor
      • Serviços
      • Em Serviços adicionais, localize o DAEMON SNMP
      • Clique nos 3 pontos (menu kebab) e selecione Iniciar
         

2. Repita o snmpwalk .

Por exemplo:

snmpwalk labavamar.company.com -v2c -cpublic .1.3.6.1.4.1.15597

SNMP and snmpwalk:

Suporte para snmpwalk foi introduzido no Avamar 5.0 SP1 e é um aplicativo SNMP que usa SNMP GETNEXT Solicitações para consultar uma entidade de rede para uma árvore de informações.
