Symptoms

 起動時に、ノードが完全に起動できず、次のエラー メッセージが表示されます。 "Could not recover journal. Contact Isilon Customer Support Immediately."

ノードが正常に起動しません。


ノードのブート シーケンス中に、次のいずれかのメッセージがコマンド ライン インターフェイスに表示されることがあります。

Cause

NVRAMジャーナルでエラーが検出されたため、ノードでジャーナル バックアップをリストアまたは見つけることができませんでした。ジャーナルは、ディスクにコミットされる前にファイル システム操作を追跡します。ノードの通常のシャットダウンまたは再起動中に、NVRAMの内容がディスクにバックアップされます。
 

ノードの再起動中に、OneFSはNVRAMジャーナルを検証します。NVRAMジャーナルに有効なデータが含まれていない場合、ノードは起動ディスクからジャーナル バックアップをリストアしようとします。バックアップも無効な場合、ノードは起動を停止し、エラー メッセージが表示されます。

Resolution

ソリューションの手順は、OneFSの保護レベルとクラスター内のオフライン デバイスの数によって異なります。保護レベルの詳細については、『OneFS管理ガイド』の「データ保護の概要」セクションを参照してください。

  • クラスター内のオフライン デバイスの数がノード保護レベルを下回っている場合は、整合性のないジャーナルを持つノードをクラスターからSmartfailする必要があります。ノードのSmartFailを開始したら、Dellテクニカル サポートに連絡して追加のサポートと情報収集を依頼します。

    警告：ノードを再フォーマットしないでください。ノードを再フォーマットすると、Dellテクニカル サポートが診断のために使用できる情報量が削減されます。

  • クラスター内のオフライン デバイスの数がノード保護レベルを超えると、データが使用できなくなるか、失われる可能性があります。至急Dellテクニカル サポートにお問い合わせください。
