PowerConnect - PC8024F lag error issue

Symptoms

Configuring a LAG on PC8024F  without a transceiver or DAC cable connected, fails with the following error.

console(config-if-Te1/0/18)#channel-group 4 mode active

Error! LAG members do not have same speed, duplex or auto-negotiation settings.

Resolution

Transceivers or DAC cables should be connected before configuring the LAG.
