Symptoms

Los respaldos de máquinas virtuales fallan después de ejecutarse durante algún tiempo. En la interfaz de usuario de, se muestra el código de error ABV0016 y el mensaje:

VM direct engine local host is unable to backup the virtual machine because the API issue

Cannot complete the operation. See the event log for details. A disk was closed during the operation. This can happen due to VM lifeCycle events such as VM power off, vMotion and HA failover. The operation should be retried.

Realizar una falla de sincronización de instantáneas basada en LWD

El producto CloudDR de VMware está realizando acciones de instantánea en la VM en el momento del respaldo de VM por parte de PowerProtect Data Manager. En la captura de pantalla anterior, vemos que CloudDR lleva a cabo la tarea "Reconfigurar máquina virtual" cuando se ejecuta el respaldo de PowerProtect Data Manager. Esto hace que falle el respaldo de PowerProtect Data Manager.

Cause

Superposición de las actividades de respaldo de PowerProtect Data Manager y CloudDR de VMware

 

Resolution

Cambie el programa de CloudDR de VMware para evitar la superposición entre las actividades de CloudDR y el respaldo de PowerProtect Data Manager.
