Symptoms

  • Data Domain (DD) CLI is in beperkte sessie.
  • De gebruiker kan zich niet aanmelden bij de DDSM.
    Rapportage van CLI-opdrachten *** Fout bij het verbinden met de beheerservice bij localhost
  • System Management Services (SMS) lijkt een coredump uit te voeren en wordt niet uitgevoerd.

Cause

Evaluatie E-licentie is verlopen.

NOTICE: Elicense refresh error: DD_DDBOOST license: **** Invalid locking id of DD_DDBOOST.. NOTICE: Elicense refresh error: DD_REPLICATION license: **** Invalid locking id of DD_REPLICATION..

 

Resolution

Voer de onderstaande stappen uit:

  1. Vraag een nieuw permanent of evaluatielicentiebestand aan.

  2. Vervang het door het bestand in /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic

    # mv /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic_orig.
# touch /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic
# vi /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic and paste the new license and save it.

  3. Start SMS opnieuw.

    # se sms restart

  4. Bekijk update elicense.

    # elicense show

    Van /ddr/etc/license/license.lic

    INCREMENT DD_REPLICATION EMCLM 1 permanent uncounted \
         VENDOR_STRING=ENV=INT-PERM; HOSTID=ANY ISSUER=EMC \
         ISSUED=29-Nov-2012 NOTICE="ACTIVATED TO SiteID: 12345678" \
         SIGN="00D7 4498 C02F 4AD5 5EBA 0041 9637 6E00 9D33 2E6B 1705 \
         88E7 52xxxxx" 
Opmerking: Er staat "permanent ongeteld\voor permanente licentie.
