Symptoms

  • Data Domain (DD) CLI är i begränsad session.
  • Användaren kan inte logga in på DDSM.
    Rapportering av CLI-kommandon *** Fel vid anslutning till hanteringstjänsten på "localhost"
  • System Management Services (SMS) verkar vara kärndump och körs inte.

Cause

E-licensen för utvärdering har upphört att gälla.

SMS.log

NOTICE: Elicense refresh error: DD_DDBOOST license: **** Invalid locking id of DD_DDBOOST.. NOTICE: Elicense refresh error: DD_REPLICATION license: **** Invalid locking id of DD_REPLICATION..

 

Resolution

Utför följande steg:

  1. Hämta en ny permanent licensfil eller utvärderingslicensfil.

  2. Ersätt den med filen i /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic

    # mv /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic_orig.
# touch /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic
# vi /ddr/etc/licenses/license.lic and paste the new license and save it.

  3. Starta om SMS.

    # se sms restart

  4. Visa e-licens för uppdatering.

    # elicense show

    Från /ddr/etc/license/license.lic

    INCREMENT DD_REPLICATION EMCLM 1 permanent uncounted \
         VENDOR_STRING=ENV=INT-PERM; HOSTID=ANY ISSUER=EMC \
         ISSUED=29-Nov-2012 NOTICE="ACTIVATED TO SiteID: 12345678" \
         SIGN="00D7 4498 C02F 4AD5 5EBA 0041 9637 6E00 9D33 2E6B 1705 \
         88E7 52xxxxx" 
Obs! Det står "permanent oräknad\för permanent licens.
