Symptoms

In RecoverPoint for VM's (RP4VM's)-omgevingen kunnen consistentiegroepen (CG's) een foutstatus krijgen omdat de RPA's geen toegang hebben tot de repository- en journaalvolumes. 

Fouten in de uitvoer van het dashboard of de systeemstatus:   

ERROR: Journaalvolume [Copy, PROD, IOFilter_JVOL_00044] is niet toegankelijk via: RPA 2


Mogelijke fouten in controle-/replicatielogboeken:

In het storagelogboek wordt weergegeven dat de logboekregistratie is gestopt vóór de huidige tijd (proces wordt niet uitgevoerd).
 
Een ander symptoom kan zijn dat het replicatieproces opnieuw wordt gestart.
Het RPA-kernellogboek (uitgepakt*/files/var/log/kern.log) toont Out of memory killing van het replicatieproces:

Cause

De RPA-processen lopen vast door een gebrek aan geheugen. Bij RPA-VM's was niet al het geheugen gereserveerd.

Resolution

Tijdelijke oplossing:    
Start de RPA's opnieuw op.

Resolutie:    
Controleer of alle RPA's al het gastgeheugen hebben gereserveerd.

Klik onder vSphere met de rechtermuisknop op de vRPA VM > Edit settings... > Vouw het gedeelte >Geheugen uit Selecteer Alle gastherinneringen reserveren (Alles vergrendeld)> Klik op OK.
