Symptoms

Nota: DD3300 ejecuta una versión modificada del software Data Domain (DD) Virtual Edition (DDVE).

Cause

La iDRAC no actualiza su información de almacenamiento.
 
La expectativa de iDRAC siempre ha sido que debe ser capaz de actualizar su inventario de almacenamiento y proporcionar la información de disco más reciente y correcta a PTAgent (en ESXi) y vulcanmon (en DDOS) cuando se quita o inserta un disco.
 
En ocasiones, la iDRAC no se actualiza y se debe restablecer manualmente.

Resolution

  1. Restablezca iDRAC en línea mediante la interfaz de usuario.
  2. Realice un restablecimiento en frío (también conocido como "drenaje de aguas residuales") según el procedimiento de restablecimiento de BMC (también conocido como drenaje de aguas residuales).
  3. Compruebe y confirme que las alertas relacionadas se hayan borrado y que el hardware del disco se muestre según lo esperado.
