Symptoms

Nota: O DD3300 executa uma versão modificada do software Data Domain (DD) Virtual Edition (DDVE).

Cause

O iDRAC não atualiza suas informações de armazenamento.
 
A expectativa do iDRAC sempre foi que ele fosse capaz de atualizar seu inventário de armazenamento e fornecer as informações de disco mais recentes e corretas para PTAgent (no ESXi) e vulcanmon (no DDOS) quando um disco é removido ou inserido.
 
Às vezes, o iDRAC não atualiza e o iDRAC deve ser redefinido manualmente.

Resolution

  1. Redefina o iDRAC on-line usando a interface do usuário do.
  2. Execute uma reinicialização a frio (também conhecida como "drenagem residual") de acordo com o procedimento BMC Reset (também conhecido como drenagem residual).
  3. Verifique e confirme se os alertas relacionados foram removidos e se o hardware do disco é exibido conforme esperado.
