Instructions
Users complain that the Disk is shown as Removed in ECSUI, under Monitor >> System Health >> Nodes >> Disk.
By design when a disk is suspect or failed(missing) and after it is logically and physically replaced, the disk will be shown as Removed in the UI under Monitor >> System Health >> Nodes >> Disk.
This entry cannot be changed or removed in ECSUI.
For example:
When disk xxxxxx8B is suspect. The disk status is shown as Suspect in ECSUI.
After logically and physically replacing the Suspect disk xxxxxx8B, the status of the disk will be shown as Removed and the Newly added or replaced Disk xxxxxxTB on the same slot will be shown as Good as seen below:
