Symptoms

VMware FLR-herstel mislukt onmiddellijk met foutcode 10007. De onderstaande foutreeks is te zien in de logboeken:

avvmwfile Error <0000>: VirtualMachine Interface is NULL
avvmwfile Error <0000>: assist_restore error. ret: 157

 

Cause

De VMware Tools-service was niet beschikbaar of reageert niet op het gastbesturingssysteem.

 

Resolution

Controleer of de virtuele doelmachine is ingeschakeld, VMware Tools is geïnstalleerd en de huidige of meest recente versie uitvoert. Hieronder ziet u hoe dit eruit moet zien in de vSphere Client.

Als VMware-tools niet beschikbaar zijn of niet reageren, start u de VMTools-service opnieuw vanaf de virtuele machine.

Dit kan via het scherm Windows 'Services' of door het volgende uit te voeren vanaf de Windows-opdrachtregel:

net stop vmtools
net start vmtools
