Dell Security Management Server（旧Dell Data Protection | Enterprise Edition Server）は、次の目的でバックアップおよびリストアされる可能性があります。
- サーバーの移行。
- 製品のトラブルシューティング。

注：フロントエンドのDell Security Management Serverはバックアップまたはリストアする必要はありません。
バックアップ
Dell Security Management Server
注：バックアップは、NAS(ネットワーク接続型ストレージ)などの外部ソースに保存する必要があります。
次の場合は、バックエンドのDell Security Management Serverに週次バックアップを作成する必要があります。

注：デフォルトのパスは、インストール時に変更している場合は異なることがあります。バックアップ タスクを作成する前に、これらのファイルが格納されているディレクトリを確認します。

- カスタム Compliance Reporter レポートが使用中の場合に、Dell Security Management Server でカスタムコンプライアンスレポートをバックアップおよびインポートする方法。
- Advanced Threat Prevention を使用している場合に、Dell Data Security Server の Advanced Threat Prevention 証明書をバックアップおよび復元する方法。
SQL Server
Dell Security Management Server SQLデータベースは、トランザクション ログが有効になっているフル バックアップを使用して夜間にバックアップする必要があります。詳細については、「 バックアップの 概要(SQL Server) 」
修復
- 以前にインストールした同じバージョンのDell Security Management ServerまたはDell Data Protection | Enterprise Edition Serverのクリーンインストールを実行します。インストール中に、SQLデータベースの選択を求めるプロンプトが表示されたら、［新しいデータベースを作成する］を選択します。

- 次のバックアップ ファイルをリストアします。

- ［Actions］メニューをクリックし、次に［Test Database Configuration］を選択します。
- ［次へ］をクリックします
- [Finish](完了)をクリックします。
