如果此儲存磁碟區不是分散式裝置的一部分，則主機將無法存取此虛擬磁碟區，從而導致資料不可用性 （DU） 情況。

VPLEX 韌體記錄顯示串流「SCSI/27」事件，其中 SCSI 感應代碼金鑰 0x7 asc 0x27 ascq 0x7 （07/27/07）， 這表示 空間配置寫入保護失敗。

VPLEX 也會以 firmware.log 記錄 scsi/169事件，表示「回報的精簡型儲存磁碟區空間不足。」

Cause

精簡型儲存磁碟區的空間配置已失敗。後端陣列上沒有更多可用的儲存區塊可供對應至 VPLEX 發出寫入命令的位址。

Resolution

傳送 scsi 檢查狀況 （7/27/07） 至 VPLEX 的儲存陣列必須由個別陣列廠商進行調查。由於儲存陣列上的「空間分配失敗寫入保護」問題，陣列無法回應寫入 I/O 要求時，會觸發此問題。

可在 VPLEX 管理伺服器上執行下列 cli grep 命令，以取得受 7/27/07 檢查條件影響的邏輯單元清單：

Additional Information

  • 在所述後端儲存集區空間已釋放後，請從 VPlexcli 執行命令「storage-volume resurrect」，以恢復顯示為「hardware dead」的任何儲存磁碟區狀態。
  • 如果後端陣列支援從 VPLEX 進行 UNMAP 作業，主機系統管理員可嘗試使用「scsi UNMAP」命令從主機回收儲存裝置。
  • 如果回收的儲存空間不足，儲存系統管理員必須將可用的區塊儲存新增至後端儲存陣列，以增加支援精簡型儲存磁碟區的可用空間。
