Cause

Kontroler iDRAC nie odświeża informacji o pamięci masowej.
 
Od kontrolera iDRAC zawsze oczekiwano, że będzie on w stanie odświeżyć swoje zasoby pamięci masowej oraz zapewnić najnowsze i poprawne informacje o dyskach PTAgent (w ESXi) i vulcanmon (w trybie DDOS) po wyjęciu lub włożeniu płyty.
 
Czasami kontroler iDRAC nie odświeża się i konieczne jest ręczne zresetowanie kontrolera.

Resolution

  1. Zresetuj kontroler iDRAC do trybu online za pomocą interfejsu użytkownika.
  2. Wykonaj zimny reset (tzw. "odpływ pcheł") zgodnie z procedurą resetowania BMC (aka odpływ pcheł).
  3. Sprawdź i potwierdź, że powiązane alerty zostały usunięte, a sprzęt dyskowy jest wyświetlany zgodnie z oczekiwaniami.
