Symptoms

  • SQL 备份作业看似完成了数据传输，但在 SQL 处理过程中失败。
  • SQL 客户端日志报告与 I/O 和超时相关的错误。
  • 在备份窗口期间，SQL 客户端上的 CPU 和 RAM 使用率始终保持高位。

Cause

当其他服务器进程（如 SQL Server Windows NT 服务或第三方代理）占用大部分可用的 CPU 和 RAM 时，会出现此问题。

高资源利用率会阻止 Avamar 备份进程维护所需的 I/O 操作，从而导致 SQL 备份超时和失败。

Resolution

联系 SQL/Wintel 管理团队，以减少 SQL Server 和其他代理进程对 CPU 和 RAM 的使用。
