Symptoms

NetWorker Azure VM 백업의 정책 로그에서 다음 오류가 관찰됩니다.

  • Linux: /nsr/logs/policy/POLICY_NAME/WORKFLOW_NAME
  • Windows(기본값): C:\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\nsr\logs\policy\POLICY_NAME\WORKFLOW_NAME

Cause

NetWorker Server의 병렬 처리 수가 너무 낮습니다. 

서버 병렬 처리 수 속성은 서버가 동시에 수용할 수 있는 세이브 스트림 수를 제어합니다. 서버가 수용할 수 있는 세이브 스트림 수가 많을수록 디바이스 및 클라이언트 디스크가 더 빠르게 실행됩니다. 클라이언트 디스크는 해당 성능 제한 또는 디스크 간의 연결 제한에서 실행될 수 있습니다. 서버 병렬 처리는 백업 작업의 시작을 제어하는 데 사용되는 것이 아니라 백업 서버에서 허용하는 세션의 최종 제한으로 사용됩니다. 서버 병렬 처리 수 값은 백업 서버 자체에 과부하를 일으키지 않는 범위 내에서 가능한 한 높아야 합니다.

Resolution

NetWorker Server의 병렬 처리 수 설정을 늘립니다. 서버 병렬 처리는 Dell 지원 사이트의 NetWorker 성능 최적화 및 계획 가이드에 자세히 설명되어 있습니다.

  1. NetWorker Server에서 관리자 명령 프롬프트 또는 루트 셸을 엽니다.
  2. 다음 명령을 실행합니다. nsradmin명령을 수행할 수 있는 충분한 공간이 있어야 합니다.
  3. 에 nsradmin 프롬프트에 다음을 입력합니다. show parallelism명령을 수행할 수 있는 충분한 공간이 있어야 합니다.
  4. 에 nsradmin 프롬프트에 다음을 입력합니다. print type: nsr
NetWorker Server의 병렬 처리 수 설정이 표시됩니다.
  1. 병렬 처리를 늘리려면 다음을 입력합니다. update parallelism: new_value

기본 서버 병렬 처리 수는 32이지만 1024까지 늘릴 수 있습니다. 값은 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024와 같은 이진 진행을 사용합니다.


참고: 데이터 존에서 50개 이상의 동시 클론 워크플로를 예약하는 경우 서버 병렬 처리 값을 1024로 구성해야 합니다. 이는 클론 작업에서 예약된 스트림의 부족을 방지하기 위한 것입니다.
 
  1. 변경 사항을 확인하라는 메시지가 표시되면 다음을 입력합니다. y 또는 yes명령을 수행할 수 있는 충분한 공간이 있어야 합니다.
  2. Enter q 또는 quit 종료하려면 nsradmin명령을 수행할 수 있는 충분한 공간이 있어야 합니다.
