Symptoms

Tilpasset PowerProtect Data Manager-verktøy brukes til å beskytte vSphere-miljøet med VM Direct Engine-løsningen. VM Direct Engine-implementering i en demilitarisert sone-klynge (DMZ) mislykkes under initialiseringsfasen. Systemjobbstatusen vises:

ProxySession unsuccessful during initialization. Unable to deploy and verify the vProxy my-proxy.my-domain.com. Unable to query vProxy status after 'Deploy'. Request unsuccessful. Unable to connect to External vproxy 'my-proxy.my-domain.com' on port '9090', the host service is not running.

Cause

PowerProtect-verktøyet har ikke tilgang til VM Direct Engine over port 9090.

Resolution

Miljøbrannmuren eller -nettverket må konfigureres slik at PowerProtect-verktøyet kan kommunisere med VM Direct Engine via port 22 og 9090.
