Cause

Avagent (Backup Agent)-tjenester konfigureres fremdeles med den lokale SYSTEM-kontoen, som ikke har de nødvendige tillatelsene til å kjøre Exchange PowerShell-kommandoer.

Alle installasjoner av Exchange Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) krever en Avamarbackupuser eller lignende privilegert konto for sikkerhetskopiering og gjenoppretting i Exchange.

Resolution

Konfigurere Backup Agent-tjenester på alle Exchange DAG-noder med Avamarbackupuser eller en lignende privilegert konto.

Den Avamarbackupuser kontoen krever følgende tillatelser og sikkerhetsgrupper (per Exchange 2010, 2013 og 2016 – Avamar 7.1 SP1 eller nyere):
  • Avamar-roller
  • Klarert Exchange-delsystem
  • Domene Brukere
  • Exchange-servere

Noen AD-miljøer som inneholder overordnede og underordnede domener, kan også kreve administrasjon av AD-gruppeorganisasjonen.

Start Avamar Exchange Backup User Configuration Tool for å sette opp Avamarbackupuser kontoen etter installasjonen av plugin-modulen, eller opprett kontoen manuelt som beskrevet i installasjonsdelen av brukerhåndboken for Avamar Exchange VSS.
