Exchange DAG-back-ups mislukken met de volgende fouten:

Cause

Avagent (Backup Agent)-services zijn nog steeds geconfigureerd met het lokale SYSTEM-account, dat niet over de benodigde machtigingen beschikt om Exchange PowerShell-opdrachten uit te voeren.

Voor alle installaties van de Exchange Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS)-plug-in is een Avamarbackupuser of een vergelijkbaar geprivilegieerd account voor back-up- en hersteldoeleinden van Exchange.

Resolution

Backup Agent-services configureren op alle Exchange DAG-knooppunten met Avamarbackupuser of een vergelijkbaar geprivilegieerd account.

De Avamarbackupuser Account vereist de volgende machtigingen en beveiligingsgroepen (vanaf Exchange 2010, 2013 en 2016 - Avamar 7.1 SP1 of hoger):
  • Avamar-rollen
  • Exchange Trusted Subsystem
  • Domeingebruikers
  • Exchange-servers

Voor sommige AD-omgevingen met bovenliggende en onderliggende domeinen is mogelijk ook AD Group Organization Management vereist.

Start de Avamar Exchange Backup User Configuration Tool voor het instellen van de Avamarbackupuser account na de installatie van de plug-in of maak het account handmatig aan, zoals beschreven in het installatiegedeelte van het document Avamar Exchange VSS gebruikershandleiding.

Opmerking: De AD-rollengroep Avamar Roles wordt automatisch gemaakt wanneer de Backup User Configuration Tool wordt gebruikt voor het maken en inrichten van de Avamarbackupuser rekening. Het kan ook handmatig worden gemaakt met behulp van de volgende syntaxis in de Exchange Management Shell: 
New-RoleGroup -Name "Avamar Roles" -Roles 'Database Copies', 'Databases', 'Mail Recipient Creation', 'Mail Recipients', 'View-Only Configuration', 'View-Only Recipients', 'Disaster Recovery'
