- Die Aufgabe "Online-Update" schlägt bei jedem Versuch, sie auszuführen, fehl. 
- Der Kunde kann normalerweise die URL: vupdate.emc.com aus dem Webbrowser öffnen Normal
- Könnte Fehler wie den folgenden im Aufgabenprotokoll sehen: 
Dies weist darauf hin, dass beim Versuch, eine Verbindung zum URL-vupdate.emc.com vom SRM-Front-end herzustellen, ein Verbindungs-Timeout aufgetreten ist.

Caused by: java.net.UnknownHostException: vupdate.emc.com: Connection Timeout
- When trying to ping or telnet the URL vupdate.emc.com from the Frontend the same Error cause was displayed. 

Cause

Der Kunde verwendet einen Proxyserver. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Engineering-Team wurde bestätigt, dass das Onlineupdate nicht ausgeführt werden kann ( Zugriff auf die URL : vupdate.emc.com ), wenn auf dem Kundenserver ein Proxyserver verwendet wird.

Resolution

Die Aufgabe "Onlineupdate" kann nicht ausgeführt werden, wenn ein Proxyserver im Kundennetzwerk bereitgestellt wird.
