Symptoms



- オンライン更新タスクの実行を試みるたびに失敗します。
- お客様は通常、WebブラウザーからURL:vupdate.emc.com を開くことができます
- タスクログに次のようなエラーが表示される場合があります。
これは、SRMフロントエンドからURL vupdate.emc.com に接続しようとしたときに接続タイムアウトが発生したことを示しています。

Caused by: java.net.UnknownHostException: vupdate.emc.com: Connection Timeout
- When trying to ping or telnet the URL vupdate.emc.com from the Frontend the same Error cause was displayed. 

Cause

お客様はプロキシ サーバーを使用しています。エンジニアリング チームと相談したところ、お客様のサーバーにプロキシ サーバーが使用されているときに、オンライン アップデートを実行できない(URLにアクセス:vupdate.emc.com)できないことを確認しました。

Resolution

プロキシ サーバーがお客様ネットワークに導入されている場合、オンライン アップデート タスクは実行できません。
