PowerFlex 3.x LDAP-godkendelse mislykkes i Ubuntu 16.04 og nyere

Scenario
PowerFlex 3.5 og nyere, der kører på Ubuntu 16.04 og nyere, logger ikke ind ved hjælp af LDAP og genstarter MDM-tjenesten. 

Symptomer

MDM-spor viser, at et forsøg på LDAP-godkendelse ikke engang starter, og MDM-tjenesten genstarter yndefuldt, mdmNet_AbnormalExitCK: 00334: Sætter netværket på pause med signal 6 (SIGABRT = bruges ofte til at afbryde programmet, hvis der er kritiske fejl):

Påvirkning

 LDAP-godkendte brugere kan ikke logge ind på MDM. MDM-omskiftning ved hvert LDAP-forsøg

Det er et OS-relateret problem, specifikt for Ubuntu, når du bruger OpenLDAP.

Når den interne PowerFlex-funktion forsøger at kopiere baseBn-tegnnummeret til godkendelsesanmodningen, bruger den den hårdkodede LdapDn char[256]-tegnstørrelse, som er 256, hvor maksimum for start af en forbindelsesanmodning er 128 tegn, som repræsenteres af FQDN(char[128]).

Det maksimale for start af en forbindelsesanmodning er 128 tegn, hvilket betyder, at forsøget på at sende en godkendelsesanmodning forårsager et bufferoverløb.

I andre operativsystemer kopierer kopieringshandlingen det mindste antal tegn i Fqdn (tegn[128])), som er det reelle tegntal (mindre end 128). I Ubuntu kopierer den længden LdapDn char[256], som er 256.
