Symptoms

新しいノードがVxRailクラスターに正常に追加され、ホストがメンテナンス モードになりました。ソフトウェア デファインド データセンター(SDDC)マネージャーを使用してVCFドメインに同じ新しいノードを追加した際に、次のエラーが表示されました。

Cluster Expansion validation failed since the cluster is using NSX-T overlay static IP pool


ドメイン・マネージャー・ログは、以下のメッセージも報告する場合があります。

Validate NSX-T Transport Node Cluster does not use Static IP.
Expanding L3 based Cluster is not supported since the cluster is using NSX-T overlay static IP pool.
Cluster Expansion validation failed since the cluster is using NSX-T overlay static IP pool.

Cause

この問題は、クラスターの1つ以上のVxRailノードに、以下のネットワークに対してIPv4設定が割り当てられているか、有効になっている場合に発生する可能性があります。 
vmk0 port group (VxRail Management network)
通常、VxRailクラスターを導入する場合、上記のvmk0ポート グループではIPv6設定のみが有効になっている必要があります。IPv4設定が1つ以上のノードで割り当てられているか、有効になっている場合があります。

Resolution

この問題を解決するには、次の手順に従います。

  1. NSX-T TEP静的プールに十分なIPがあることを確認します。そうでない場合は、プール範囲を更新します。
  2. vSphereクラスターのすべてのノードで、vmk0ポート グループ(VxRail管理ネットワーク) のVMkernelポート グループ設定を確認します。IPv4設定が無効になっていることを確認します。割り当て済みまたは有効になっている場合は、[No IPv4 settings]オプションを選択し、[OK]をクリックします。
  3. SDDC Managerノード追加検証を再実行してください。
