Symptoms

When this issue occurs, the LMC loads up as pure white, with no commands or any other data showing. Dell Encryption is still functioning properly.

Local management console is blank

Resolution

To Resolve this issue:

  1. Power off the virtual machine using either Shut Down or Turn off
  2. Right-click the Virtual Machine
  3. Left click Edit virtual machine settings
    Edit virtual machine settings
  4. Left click Video card
    Virtual machine settings
  5. Clear Accelerate 3D graphics
    • Ensure that Use host setting for monitors is checked
      Check Use how setting for monitors
    Note: The above steps may differ depending on the version of VMware you are running.
