Cause

Systeemomgeving waarin DDVE is geconfigureerd op ESX verbonden met een extern storageapparaat.

Het bovengenoemde probleem doet zich voor wanneer het externe opslagapparaat de verbinding met de ESXi-host verliest.
De volgende fout gerapporteerd in het vmkernel-logboek van de ESX-server

Daarnaast zullen er frame drop-gebeurtenissen zijn op vmhbaX opgemerkt:

Resolution

Het DDVE-bestandssysteem moet worden ingeschakeld na het voltooien van de volgende twee taken:
  1. Controleer het verbindingspad (vmhbaX:C0:T5:LX) en breng de verbinding tussen switch en extern storageapparaat opnieuw tot stand.
  2. Nadat de verbinding tot stand is gebracht, controleert u of er geen defecte apparaten meer worden gemeld in "vmkernel.log".
  3. Start DDVE opnieuw op.

Als het probleem zich blijft voordoen nadat de bovengenoemde taken zijn voltooid, verzamelt u het volgende en neemt u contact op met DELL EMC DD Support:

  1. Supportbundel van DDVE.
  2. Genereer een bundel van de ESXi-server.
  3. Logboeken van de aangesloten switch.
