Cause
DD3300 appliances reserve certain disks for Cloud Tier functionality. If Cloud Tier is not activated, these reserved disks are shown as unknown in the system state.
- The reserved disks (typically 1TB) cannot be added to the Active Tier.
- The number of reserved devices depends on the DD3300 configuration.

Resolution
- This is normal system behavior.
- The unknown disks are reserved for Cloud Tier and remain in this state until Cloud Tier is enabled.
- No action is required unless Cloud Tier activation is planned.
