Symptoms

VMware SRM:n vikasietoisuuden käyttöönotto

Käyttäjä ei voi suorittaa VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) -vikasietoa RecoverPointilla (RP).
VMware SRM lähetti vikasietokomennon suoraan RP:lle.

Huomautus: Tässä tilanteessa ViPR Controller ei ollut osa vikasietomenettelyä.

4.1. Protection Group <protection group>    Error - Failed to recover datastore '<datastore name>'. VMFS volume residing on recovered devices '"<WWN of volume>"' cannot be found. Cause

Ongelman syynä on se, että kohde-LUNeja ei viety kohdeklusteriin.

 

Resolution

Kiertotapa:

  • SRM:n vikasietotilan helpottamiseksi varmista, että kohde-LUN:t on vietävä kohdeklusteriin etukäteen.
  • Näin ESXi-isännät näkevät taltiot uudelleentarkistuksen aikana.
  • Tämä voidaan tehdä käyttämällä VIPR-ohjaimen Export Volume to a Host -luettelokohtaa.
