Symptoms

MTree 报告的 DD 物理容量测量/报告 (PCM/PCR) 压缩后大小大于 DD 文件系统活动层总已用大小。

最新的 PCR 报告显示,位于 /data/col1/avamar-123456789 的 MTree 的压缩后大小为 253112.8 GiB。但是,DDFS /data 分区(活动层)使用的总压缩后大小仅为 241913.2 GiB。

Cause

通过 PCR 测量的给定 MTree 的“物理已用(压缩后)”为元数据 + 物理 L0 字节。对于元数据部分,PCR 报告逻辑 LP 段大小。在某些工作负载中,例如虚拟合成 (VS) 工作负载,存在 LP 共享。因此,逻辑 LP 分段大小可以大于 DDFS/数据分区物理大小。当 MTree 数据具有较高的重复数据消除率时,可能会出现此问题,因为它具有较高的 LP 元数据。
