Symptoms

Das RMAN-Backup wird auf PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) nicht abgeschlossen und es wird folgende Meldung angezeigt:
ORA-19506: failed to create sequential file, name=”.../XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-ff”

Cause

Das Controlfile-Format ist auf einen nicht zulässigen Wert eingestellt. Oracle kann keine sequenziellen Teile erzeugen. Das Format "%%F" ist ungültig.

Resolution

  1. Überprüfen Sie das Controlfile-Format, indem Sie den Befehl mit RMAN eingeben:
RMAN> SHOW ALL; 
CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO '………/%%F';
CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE SBT_TAPE TO '%%F';
  1. Im PPDM-Protokoll:
autobackup format for disk to  '................/controlfile_PRD21.20210923_200001_Tue.%%F.ctl';
  1. Der DBA muss den Wert auf das Standardformat (%F) oder auf ein akzeptables Format festlegen:
CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO '………_%F';
CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE SBT_TAPE TO '………_%F';
  1. Damit die Konfiguration angewendet wird, warten Sie bis zum nächsten Tag, an dem der Controlfile-Zeitstempel geändert wird, und eine neue Sequenz von Teilen generiert wird.
  2. Um zu überprüfen, ob die Korrektur funktioniert hat, führen Sie ein neues Backup aus oder führen Sie manuell ein Controlfile-Backup aus, um sicherzustellen, dass das Ende zwei Ziffern und nicht „-ff“ aufweist:
RMAN> connect target /
RMAN> backup current controlfile;
".../2615403650-20210924-01"
