Cause

Wie in der obigen Ausgabe angegeben, liegt der Fehler bei der Namensauflösung, was zu einer unbekannten Hostausnahme führt:

java.net.UnknownHostException: <incorrect-hostname>: <incorrect-hostname>: Name or service not known
 

Wenn der Java-Code versucht, die lokalen Hostnameninformationen abzurufen, schlägt dies aufgrund eines Problems mit der Hostnamenkonfiguration fehl:

Beispiel:

hostname
<incorrect-hostname>
 
hostname -f 
hostname: Temporary failure in name resolution
 
hostname -i
hostname: Name or service not known

Resolution

1. Führen Sie den folgenden Befehl aus, um den Hostnamen zu aktualisieren:

hostname <correct-hostname>
 

Zum Beispiel: So legen Sie den Hostnamen auf avamar-prod-fs1 fest:

hostname avamar-prod-fs1
 

2. Überprüfen Sie die Werte des Hostnamens (mit demselben Beispiel).

hostname
avamar-prod-fs1
 
hostname -f 
avamar-prod-fs1.company.com
 
hostname -i
10.1.2.3
 

3. Starten Sie MCS und setzen Sie den Backup-Scheduler fort:

mcserver.sh --start
dpnctl start sched
