Instructions

De DD3300 maakt gebruik van een aangepast Dell R740xd-platform waarbij de nummering van fysieke slots begint bij 0, terwijl Data Domain-software schijven identificeert vanaf 1. Deze discrepantie veroorzaakt verwarring bij het correleren van waarschuwingsgegevens met fysieke schijfposities.

Inzicht in de verschillen in slotnummering op de DD3300.

  • Fysieke slots: Begin bij 0.
  • Softwareschijf-id's: Begin bij 1 (format: Enclosure.DiskBijvoorbeeld. 1.18).

Gebruik de onderstaande grafieken om te bepalen welke schijf moet worden verwijderd op basis van de schijfidentificatie-informatie in de waarschuwing.

  • Bepaal de informatie over de behuizing en het slot in de waarschuwing -> in dit geval  Enclosure=1:Disk=18 
  • Raadpleeg de lay-outtabellen (hierboven) om te bepalen welk fysiek slot wordt toegewezen aan de behuizing en informatie over schijfslots uit de waarschuwing. 
    • 1 schijf 18, bevindt zich in fysiek slot #17. 

    Het toewijzen van schijfwaarschuwingen aan de juiste harde-schijfsleuf kan ook worden gedaan met behulp van de CLI (opdrachtregelinterface).
    Voer de volgende opdrachten uit om informatie over de toewijzing van de schijf aan het slot weer te geven.
