Storagestorageconfiguratie >> Tabblad > RAID-groepen > RAID-groepen Klik op naam > RAID-groep LUN's > Klik met de rechtermuisknop op LUN-naam > Eigenschappen > Tabblad > Cache Vink "Use SP Write Cache" aan/

uitOpmerking: De prestaties worden beïnvloed wanneer de schrijfcache voor de LUN is uitgeschakeld.

Schrijfcache kan ALLEEN worden uitgeschakeld voor traditionele RAID-groep-LUN's, NIET voor pool-LUN's****

Op pagina 19 van de whitepaper van EMC VNX VIRTUAL PROVISIONING staat het volgende:
Groepen en vervolgens pool-LUN's worden gedekt door standaard cacheopties die niet afstembaar zijn zoals traditionele LUN's. De enige cacheoptie voor een groep is het in- of uitschakelen van FAST Cache, indien beschikbaar.
