Symptoms

Avamar SQL 备份可能会失败，并显示类似于以下内容的错误：
 

avsql Error <40258>: sqlconnectimpl_smo::connect Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Common.ConnectionFailureException: Failed to connect to server DELLSVR\SQLINSTANCE. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user 'backupuser'.

Cause

指定用于 SQL 备份的数据集使用的是 SQL Server 身份验证，而不是 Windows 身份验证。

客户端上有多个 SQL 实例。一个或多个 SQL 实例可能未向 SQL Server 登录帐户授予安全访问权限。

Resolution

解决问题的解决方法：

  1. 将 SQL Server 登录账号添加到 SQL Server Management Studio （SSMS） 中的实例，并为其授予 sysadmin 角色。
  2. 编辑数据集并排除不允许 SQL Server 登录帐户访问的 SQL 实例。
  3. 确认未在 SSMS 中禁用 SQL 登录帐户。
  4. 重置 SQL 登录帐户的密码（如果已过期）。
  5. 确保 SQL 登录帐户有权访问数据库。
